The new pass-through design rotates the torch rather than the pipe. This prevents all of the problems associated with rotary pipe drives. Just insert the pipe end and start the machine. You can set bevel angles accurately at 90°, 30° or 37.5° (from 90°). Just move the cutting head into the preset positions and lock it in place.
